The Friends of the Fitchburg Library will host its first used book sale since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic from Oct. 21-23.
The book sale will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, and Friday, Oct. 22; and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Fitchburg Public Library, 5530 Lacy Road. The Friends are accepting donations for the upcoming sale, from which all proceeds will go to benefit library programming.
The Friends also accept DVDs, BluRays and CDs that are in good condition, in addition to used books. The group does not accept encyclopedias, magazines, textbooks, VHS cassettes or toys and games for the sale event, a news release from the group states.
Donations can be made by dropping items off in donation bins at the library.
