Police seek two suspects in attempted stabbing

Fitchburg police are looking for two suspects after an attempted stabbing Wednesday night.

Police responded to the 2100 block of Red Arrow Trail just before 11 p.m. after a battery and attempted stabbing, according to a release from the Fitchburg Police Department.

The suspects punched the victim in the head multiple times, and according to the release, a knife cut the victim’s coat.

The victim suffered “minor injuries” and refused EMS aid, the release said.

The suspects are described as approximately 20 years old, one black male and one Hispanic male. The black suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants, while the Hispanic suspect had on a white sweatshirt with unknown lettering, black pants and a white hat.

Both suspects fled the scene without saying anything to the victim.
